Extraction Cooker Hoods

Modern cooker hoods come in two main categories: extraction cooker hoods draw in the moist air and extract it outside via ducting; alternatively recirculation cooker hoods draw the air over a special charcoal panel to absorb unwanted odours. It's worth considering the aesthetics of the Glossary Link appliance; the hood needs to be a minimum of 43cm above an electric hob, or at least 65cm above a gas hob.
