Cooking with wood is not a new idea. Certainly our distance ancestors huddled in caves cooking over open fires. In recent history we have become addicted to the cleanliness and convenience of gas and oil-based cooking. But with the rising cost of fossil fuels, and their carbon impact on the environment, many people are going back to cooking with solid fuel again.
The recent fluctuations in fossil fuel costs (particularly oil and gas) have made us all aware of how fiscally vulnerable we really are.

I remember the first time I ever used a gas cooktop. After years of laboured effort over an electric cook top, the fact that you could get what felt like instant-boil heat made the world seem like a much better place. I, for one, was hooked.

The Rotisserie Oven is not as popular as it should be as they are not only a very healthy way of cooking meats, but they also create incredibly tasty food.
This is because Rotisserie cooking cooks food in its own juices by constantly turning over the meat so they do not have any chance of dripping out, away from the food.
